Investiture Ceremony of Student Leaders, 29.06.2013.

The Investiture of School leaders for the Academic year 2013–14 was held at the school campus on 29th June 2013. Mr. Harish Machaiah, Management Consultant, Teacher and Trainer Chairman, inducted the leaders and addressed the gathering. He highlighted the qualities of a good leader. Kum M Sneha was inducted as School Captain and Kum H S Ananya H.S as Vice Captain.

Fancy Dress Competition 2013

A Fancy Dress competition was held on 16 Nov. 2013. A picture of children in their colourful dresses is shown below.

Kruthi Sangama 2013

Kruthi Sangama, an annual feature of the School showcasing models in various subjects was held on 14-12-2013. This feature is popular with children and their parents. An Exhibition of charts, models and multimedia presentations in Mathematics, Sanskrit and Hindi was held. Students of Standards VI to X  participated. Art work of all classes were also displayed. Dr. S.N. Gananath, Director, Suvidya, Mysore and Dr. M.S. Krishnamurthy, Rtd. Professor of Hindi, Manasagangothri, Mysore,inaugurated the exhibition and appreciated the work done by the students guided by their teachers.

 Kala Sangama - Annual Day 2013

Acharya Vidya Kula celebrated Kala Sangama, its 18th Annual Day on Sunday 22-12-2013 at the School Campus.

On the occasion, the Chief Guest Sri. L. Jayaram Haravu, Member, Governing Board released the book ‘Brahmanic Vignettes’ authored by Sri. V. Siddharthacharry, IFS (Rtd),  Founder Patron of the School.  Students of Standards I to V presented a cultural Programme. In the picture shown below, the Chief Guest is seen releasing the book. The President of Madgalen College, Oxford University wrote a letter of appreciation after reading the book by the Founder Patron.

Republic Day 2014

Republic Day 2014 was celebrated with the unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest, Prof. V.K. Natraj followed by a solemn singing of the National Anthem. Children then sang Vande Mataram followed by patriotic songs in Kannada. The 16th edition of the Annual School Magazine ‘SMRUTHI’ was released by the Chief Guest. In his address, Prof. Natraj urged that while citizens are conscious of the Fundamental Rights mentioned in the constitution, not many are conscious about the Duties of a Citizen, mentioned therein. He impressed on students that they should remain conscious of their duties and to do everything possible to protect the interests of women, and the under privileged section of society. He also stressed on the need to be conscious about protecting environment and conservation of resources for future generations.
